Who operates AfterClock
AfterClock is created and operated by David Vernon under the DVWEBCO name in Texas, United States. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to info@afterclock.app.
Records stored by the app
AfterClock does not require an AfterClock account. Shifts, workplaces, schedules, tips, gratuities, tip-outs, sales, wages, hours, paychecks, goals, tags, templates, and notes are stored in a local app database so AfterClock can work offline. Personal financial records are not copied to or stored on a server owned by AfterClock, David Vernon, or DVWEBCO.
Private iCloud and CloudKit sync
If you enable Pro synchronization, AfterClock uses Apple CloudKit to keep supported records and settings in the private iCloud database associated with your Apple Account. Apple provides and processes that storage and synchronization service under Apple’s terms. AfterClock keeps a local copy on each participating device so you can continue working when a connection is unavailable. Disabling sync stops future synchronization but does not automatically remove existing local records, iCloud records, device backups, or exported files.
Notifications and Live Activities
With your permission, AfterClock can schedule post-shift reminders and other local notifications. When you use the Shift Timer, a Live Activity can show the active shift on supported devices. You can change notification permissions in system settings and turn app reminders off in AfterClock. Apple may process the technical information needed to deliver system notifications and Live Activities.
Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode protection
The optional Privacy Lock uses Apple’s Local Authentication system. Biometric matching happens through the operating system. AfterClock receives only the result of the authentication request and does not receive, store, or transmit your face, fingerprint, or biometric template.
Subscriptions and purchases
Apple processes AfterClock Pro purchases, renewals, Family Sharing eligibility, refunds, and payment information. AfterClock uses purchase and entitlement information supplied by Apple to determine whether Pro features should be available. AfterClock does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to App Store transactions.
Imports, exports, and backups
You can import compatible Tiplo or AfterClock backups, create local backups, and export or share reports in CSV or PDF format. Imported records are stored like other app records. Files you save, copy, email, or share are outside AfterClock’s control and may be processed by the destination, storage provider, or recipient you choose. Deleting data inside AfterClock does not delete separate backup or export files.
Diagnostics and support
AfterClock does not use third-party advertising trackers. If you choose to share diagnostics with Apple or include diagnostics with a support request, Apple or AfterClock may receive technical information such as the app version, device and operating-system version, crash details, storage or sync status, and record counts. AfterClock support diagnostics are designed to exclude workplace names, dates worked, earnings amounts, and notes unless you deliberately include that information in your message or attachment.
Deleting app data
You can delete individual records or use AfterClock’s reset and deletion tools to remove local app data. If private iCloud sync is enabled, use AfterClock’s deletion controls on a connected device before uninstalling so the deletion can synchronize. Removing the app deletes its local data from that device, but it may not remove private iCloud records, device backups, or files you previously exported. Information the website collects
When you request product updates, afterclock.app receives the email address you provide, a general device category, the form source, and submission time. When you use the contact form, the site receives your name, email address, message, and submission time. The site records limited first-party events such as calls-to-action, carousel engagement, page path, and general device category. Hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request time, and diagnostic logs. The website does not collect the financial records stored in the app.
How website information is used
AfterClock uses product-update information to operate the list and send the feature, availability, and product news you requested. Contact and technical information is used to answer messages, provide support, operate and secure the site, prevent abuse, understand which parts of the site are useful, and improve the website and product.
Sharing and selling
AfterClock does not sell personal information, use third-party advertising trackers, or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Apple processes iCloud and purchase information as described above. Hosting, database, email-delivery, and security providers may process limited website information only as needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or service integrity.
Retention and website deletion requests
Product-update email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the list is no longer needed, subject to limited records retained for security, legal, or suppression purposes. Contact and support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. To request access to or deletion of website information associated with your email address, contact info@afterclock.app.
Security
AfterClock uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information it handles. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your devices, passcodes, Apple Account, iCloud settings, backups, and exported files.
Children
AfterClock and afterclock.app are not directed to children under 13, and AfterClock does not knowingly collect their personal information. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted.
Policy updates
This policy may change as AfterClock adds features, providers, or distribution channels. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
